Egyptian Cotton 400 Count Oxford Duvet Cover

I have been buying this product for many years. It looks beautiful on my bed and feels beautiful on my skin. It also washes really well and I find I don't need to iron if I just shake it out and hang it straight from the washing machine. Keeps for years without losing it's colour and without showing signs of wear. I wouldn't change for anything else.

I bought 400 thread Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases in white. The cotton is mid-weight with a lovely soft sheen and the fabric weave looks robust and durable. I also bought the samples prior to ordering. I usually buy from John Lewis but the feed-back on their web-site for equivalent bed linen was dire! As a result I decided to buy from Belledorm, and ordered one set of bed linen. When my order arrived, I was so impressed with the quality, I ordered another set of bed linen by return. I always buy 400 thread Egyptian cotton bed linen but have noticed over the years that the quality varies, especially the light weight silky finish which can wear very badly if the bed is used by a restless and fidgety child. Belledorm guarantee this product for 7 years and I think the items will last a lot longer. I use a deep fitted sheet and a flat sheet beneath the duvets. This saves frequent washing of duvet covers, however if you've never washed Egyptian cotton sheets before, be prepared: they do crease. I use a low spin of 1100rpm and iron the pillowcases and one side of the duvet cover. I never iron the sheets and creases don't show much when a bed is made. Excellent quality product

I really love Belledorm's Egyptian Cotton collections. I purchased them several times. The only small imperfection is that there are always some thread hanging by the edges and the cut for the buttons isn't perfectly neat. But it's really soft and feels good on the skin which is why I keep buying them and can ignore the small imperfections. But it is a bit pricey considering that there are some small defects.
